2. The Competitions
- These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to every competition advertised on Carpatic Giveaways, including traditional prize competitions (“Standard Competitions”) and online instant result competitions (“Instant Win Competitions”). Both formats are collectively referred to as “Competitions.”
- If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and any promotional material, advertisement, or information shown on the Website, these Terms will prevail.
- To qualify for entry into a Competition, participants (“Entrants”) may be required to correctly answer a question or solve a task provided by the Promoter (“Competition Question”).
- Every Competition includes a Competition Question and requires payment of an entry fee unless a free entry method is specifically made available, such as where an easy or multiple-choice question is used.
3. Entry Process
- Each Competition will open and close on the dates and times displayed on the Website (“Opening Date” and “Closing Date”). All times are based on London, England time.
- The Promoter reserves the right to amend the Opening Date or Closing Date whenever reasonably necessary. Any changes will be updated on the Website.
- Entries must be received before the Closing Date and specified closing time. Except where otherwise stated in clause 3.12.6, late entries will not be accepted and refunds will not be issued.
- Each Competition may have a maximum number of entries, which will be stated on the relevant competition page. Once the limit is reached, further entries may no longer be available.
- Entry limits may also apply per individual Entrant. The maximum number allowed for each Competition will be displayed on the relevant competition page.
- To enter a Standard Competition through the paid method:
- Visit the Website and select the Competition;
- Submit your answer to the Competition Question;
- Choose the number of entries you wish to purchase;
- Proceed to checkout;
- Log in or create an account if required;
- Accept these Terms and complete payment.
- To enter an Instant Win Competition through the paid method:
- Visit the relevant Instant Win Competition page;
- Select the quantity of entries;
- Continue to checkout;
- Sign in or register an account;
- Accept these Terms and complete payment.
- PayPal services are available only to individuals aged 18 or over. Users must comply with PayPal’s own terms and policies.
- Once an online entry has been submitted successfully, confirmation of receipt will be sent by the Promoter.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for failed, delayed, incomplete, or lost entries caused by technical problems, equipment failures, software issues, server interruptions, or any similar circumstances.
- By purchasing or submitting an entry, whether free or paid, you confirm that:
- you meet the eligibility requirements;
- you are entering into a binding agreement with the Promoter; and
- you agree to comply with these Terms.
- Free Entry Method
Entrants may enter Competitions free of charge by following these conditions:
- Entries must be sent by prepaid first or second class post to:Flat 28, Old Inn House,

United Kingdom. - Hand-delivered entries will not be accepted.
- Each postal entry must include:
- the Competition details;
- full name;
- date of birth;
- postal address;
- contact phone number and email address;
- answer to the Competition Question where applicable.
- Incomplete, unclear, or unreadable entries may be rejected.
- Multiple free entries are permitted up to the maximum entry limit for the Competition. However, every entry must be posted separately. Multiple entries in a single envelope or postcard will count as one entry only.
- Free entries must arrive before the Closing Date and before all available entries have been allocated.
- Free entries received within 48 hours of the Closing Date for Competitions that still have availability may instead receive account credit equal to the equivalent paid entries.
- Entries arriving after the Competition closes will not qualify for account credit.
- Proof of postage is not accepted as proof of delivery or entry.
- If entry capacity is reached before a free entry arrives, the entry will not be included and no credit will be issued.
- Where entry prices are lower than postage costs, additional entries may be credited based on second-class postage value. For example:
- 49p Competition = 2 entries
- 29p Competition = 3 entries
- 9p Competition = 10 entries
- Entrants must hold an active Website or app account, and all submitted information must match the account details.
4. Winner Selection
- For Standard Competitions, all correct entries are placed into a random draw. A winner will be selected within 7 days of the Closing Date.
- Entrants in Standard Competitions may have their names and entry numbers displayed on a spreadsheet visible during live draws or on the Website. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous must email [email protected] at least 48 hours before the draw.
- For Instant Win Competitions, prizes are randomly assigned to numbered positions within a spreadsheet. If an Entrant’s allocated number matches a prize position, that Entrant wins the corresponding prize.
- Entrants in Instant Win Competitions will be informed of results directly on the relevant competition page after entry submission.
- Winners and unsuccessful participants may also receive automated email notifications using the email address provided during entry.
- Any person selected to receive a prize shall be referred to as a “Winner.”

5. Website Credit
- Website credit may occasionally be awarded as part of promotions or prizes.
- Some Competition prizes may be exchangeable for Website credit where stated on the relevant competition page.
- Credit may also be issued in exchange for winner testimonials, photos, or promotional participation.
- Additional opportunities to receive Website credit may be advertised on the Promoter’s social media channels.
- Website credit must be used within 12 months of issue. Reminder notifications may be sent one month before expiry and again on the expiry date. Expired credit cannot be reinstated.
- Current credit balances can be viewed through the user account area on the Website.
- Website credit has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money.
6. Eligibility
- Competitions are open to individuals aged 18 or older, excluding:
- employees of the Promoter;
- individuals professionally associated with the administration of the Competitions; and
- immediate family members or household members of such individuals.
- By entering, Entrants confirm that they are legally eligible to participate and claim any prize. Proof of eligibility may be requested.
- Entries generated automatically or submitted incompletely will not be accepted.
- The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant whose conduct is considered abusive, dishonest, or inconsistent with the intended spirit of the Competition.
- Except where otherwise stated, entry fees are non-refundable, including where:
- an Entrant later discovers they are ineligible;
- eligibility criteria change; or
- the Entrant is disqualified.
- Fraudulent activity, hacking, tampering with the Website, misuse of system code, or deceptive conduct may result in:
- cancellation of all entries;
- refusal of refunds; and
- exclusion from future Competitions.
7. Prizes
- Prize details for each Competition are described on the Website and are believed to be accurate at the time the Competition opens.
- The Promoter may substitute a prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if necessary.
- While reasonable efforts are made to describe prizes accurately, the Promoter does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or condition of any prize information.
- Unless specifically stated otherwise, prizes are not exchangeable for cash. However, the Promoter may offer a cash alternative at its discretion.
- Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- Vehicle Prizes
Where the prize is a vehicle:
- a valid MOT will be provided where legally required;
- insurance is not included;
- road tax is not included unless stated otherwise;
- responsibility transfers to the Winner upon delivery;
- Winners must ensure they are legally licensed and properly equipped to operate the vehicle safely.
- Holiday or Event Prizes
Where the prize includes travel, holidays, or event attendance:
- details of transport, accommodation, or ticket inclusions will be listed on the Website;
- travel insurance and incidental expenses are not included unless specifically stated;
- Winners are responsible for passports, visas, and travel documentation;
- certain travel dates may be fixed and non-changeable.
- Property Prizes
Where the prize involves property:
- Winners may choose between the advertised property package or an alternative cash prize where offered;
- property valuations are indicative only;
- Stamp Duty Land Tax and legal transfer fees may be covered by the Promoter;
- all other taxes or costs remain the Winner’s responsibility;
- the Winner must cooperate with the property transfer process within the specified timeframe.
8. Winners
- The Promoter’s decisions regarding all Competitions are final.
- Standard Competition winners will usually be contacted within 7 days of the draw date using the contact details provided.
- Instant Win winners will generally be contacted within 48 hours of a successful entry.
- If a Winner cannot be reached or fails to claim the prize within 14 days, the Promoter may:
- select another eligible winner;
- reallocate the prize; or
- dispose of the prize as deemed appropriate.
- The Promoter may publish the Winner’s name and winning number on the Website to demonstrate that a legitimate award has taken place.
- Anyone objecting to publication of their information must contact [email protected] before the Closing Date. However, information may still need to be provided to regulators where legally required.
- The Promoter may withhold or cancel a prize if it reasonably believes that the Winner breached these Terms or was otherwise ineligible.
9. Prize Claims
- Prizes must be claimed directly by the Winner unless otherwise agreed by the Promoter.
- Entrants are responsible for ensuring their contact information remains accurate and up to date.
- Cash prizes will only be transferred to a bank account belonging to the Winner or jointly held by them. Supporting evidence may be requested.
- Failure to provide required documentation within 14 days may result in forfeiture of the prize.
- The Promoter is not liable if a Winner cannot or chooses not to accept a prize.
10. Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter accepts no liability for losses, injuries, damages, or claims arising from participation in a Competition or use of a prize, except where caused by negligence.
- The Promoter is not responsible for:
- failed or delayed entries;
- technical issues or service interruptions;
- unauthorised access to entries;
- internet or network failures; or
- misuse of a prize by a Winner.
11. Privacy and Publicity
- Personal information supplied during entry will only be used in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
- Winners may have their name, image, and general location used for promotional purposes relating to the Competition.
- Winners who do not wish to participate in publicity should notify the Promoter before the Competition closes.
- Winners may need to provide additional identification documents before prizes can be transferred or awarded.
- If an Entrant requests removal of their data before the Competition concludes, they may be withdrawn from the Competition because the Promoter will no longer be able to contact them.
12. General Terms
- The Promoter may revise these Terms at any time. The most recent version will always appear on the Website.
- Any breach of these Terms may result in disqualification from current or future Competitions.
- The Promoter may suspend, cancel, modify, or void a Competition if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary. In such cases, entry fees may be refunded.
- Competitions will proceed regardless of how many entries are received unless otherwise stated.
- Competitions are not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook, and Facebook bears no responsibility for them.
- These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and participants agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
